I think what you're doing with Art + Culture La Jolla is terrific. Too many local residents and visitors to our community think that we're just about beaches and great weather. That's why I started my blog "La Jolla Travel Information" (www.LaJollaTravelInformation.com). It drives me nutty to see people walking along Prospect Street with an ice cream cone thinking they've seen La Jolla. I cover the gliderport, tidepooling, local events (grunion runs, Secret Garden Tour, Christmas Parade, etc.), restaurants and places to stay that are slightly off the beaten path, and places to walk, check out the view, and expand awareness of our community.
